In this article, it points out that Serena Williams has won many tennis matches and has won many of the major tennis matches but one that she has not won is the WTA tour. Even though she has won multiple tennis opens and tours is she really considered number one? Dinara Safina, the winner of the WTA tour, is also one that could be considered one of the best in tennis because of her ranking at the WTA tour. Even though Serena didn't win the WTA tour is she really one to doubt that she is the best tennis player? With all of her other standings I think it is safe to say that yes, she is one of the best tennis players. Without one title and one tour that she didn't win, you don't have to win everything to be "the best."
