New findings

I recently read an article that was about a squid. It is a 19.5 foot squid and was found on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. As i was reading and looking at the pictures, the pictures looked really gross but as I was nearing the end of the article it had said that the squid was taken to the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History for them to investigate it more. After reading the article I thought that it would be really fun to just go explore and see what you find and get paid for it! I have always loved being outside and exploring but getting paid to fish and find animals for a living would be great. Any type of job like that where you go day to day and see what you find would give you a lifetime of stories to tell. That would be tons of fun! If only... I guess I'll just be a teacher.

  1. I completely agree with that being a really interesting and fun job. But you can't leave us hanging. What happened to the squid?! I need to know! Did they kill it and stuff it? Did they keep it in captivity? I'd love to know what happened to that squid. :P

  2. the squid was already dead when they found it so they just took it to the museum to investigate it.
